INVITATION TO MINISTERS' CONFERENCE 1999

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15).

Theme: "Approved to God"

Dear Friends in Christ

Now, more than ever before, the Church needs workmen who uncompromisingly promote the truth of God's Word in their preaching and their lifestyle. You are invited to attend the tenth Ministers' Conference at KwaSizabantu to hear more about making this a reality in our lives as ministers of the Word.

Some background about the Ministers' Conferences: These conferences are held annually for ministers of the Gospel. Normally about a thousand pastors and Christian workers attend, not only from South Africa but also from many countries abroad. They come from many different church backgrounds.

The next conference is planned for 8 - 11 March 1999, the first service starting on Monday evening 7:30 pm and the final session on Thursday morning. It is especially planned in this way that you will be able to be with your congregations over the weekend.

The theme of the conference will be, APPROVED TO GOD, with 2 Tim 2:15 as the theme verse.

You are heartily invited to attend the Conference together with any of your colleagues who may be preachers, evangelists, church council members or anyone in Christian leadership.

Some of the topics to be addressed will be:

- Approved to God
- The subtle undermining of the Church
- The return to paganism
- Drugs
- Aids
- Christianity and Science
- The Y2K problem

Some of the speakers who will be addressing the Conference D.V.:

Rev Mike Evans - Previous National Director of Operation
Mobilisation in France; Present Director of the Geneva Bible Institute.
Dr Werner Gitt - Well-known international speaker and author, from Germany.
Rev Barney Mabaso - Co-worker of KwaSizabantu Mission.
Prof. Pieter Potgieter - Chairperson of the General Synodical Committee of the Dutch Reformed Church.
Rev A. Xaba - Principal of the Union Bible Institute.

The auditorium at KwaSizabantu has more than enough room for you and all those you may wish to invite. Your participation is important and we look forward to hearing from you.
You can contact us by telephone, fax or e-mail with the names of those who would like to attend (please specify couples, men or women). Accommodation and food will be provided for (please could you bring your own bedding, if possible). We will assist in transport to and from Durban airport/station/bus-stop. Please let us know when and where to fetch you.

Looking forward to seeing you.
Yours in His service
