Avocado season - Kwasizabantu 2002

Reaping and packing of Kwasizabantu avocado pears are in full swing, early August 2002. A new feature for the export market is a heat-tracking device which sends records of the heat in every consignment from the moment they leave, on the road and in the ship.

While most of the avocados are from Kwasizabantu the factory line also packs for local farmers.
