Thousands of Rural Youth to hear

Händel’s Messiah

 

Handel’s Messiah is to be performed by The Natal Bach Choir and P.A.M.S. Choir with the P.A.M.S. Augmented Orchestra under the baton of Lutz Kohrs, at KwaSizabantu Mission on Saturday, 8 December 2001, at 7pm.

An expected full-house in the auditorium, seating 9000, will include the 5 - 6 000 young people attending the bi-annual KwaSizabantu Youth Conference, starting 7 December. For most of the youth from rural areas the performance will be a first-time experience.

The Natal Bach Choir and P.A.M.S. Choir with the P.A.M.S. Augmented Orchestra will be performing under direction of Lutz Kohrs.

Soloists are: Linelle Wimbles (Soprano); Margi Nel (Contralto)

Nicholas Nicolaïdis (Tenor); John Butler (Bass)
