These are just a brief sample of a
flight from the Kwasizabantu to Maqhogo Mission in the Tugela Valley; some of the
agriculture there. We've only shown you two or three types of fruit. There are at least 15
types of vegetables and fruit trees now growing in the areas surrounding Maqhogo. Rev
Stegen wants the people there to see for themselves that they can use the land for more
than just a few goats and cows. Some of the crops, like paw-paws, are being reaped in
great abundance and are being handed out to everyone who wants some. Mr BJ Sibisi, the
local Amakhosi, Indunas, and leading women, have been very helpful in advancing the
projects at Maqhogo Mission.
