Cedar College of Education - Graduation 2002

The annual graduation of the Cedar College of Education, at Kwasizabantu Mission, was held on 23 March 2002. The function was held in the Kwasizabantu auditorium.

The graduates received their diplomas in conjuction with the Potchefstroom University of Higher Christian Education. Prof Hennie Steyn, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Potch, did the official presentations. Rev Erlo Stegen, director of Kwasizabantu Mission, gave a speech on the "Importance of Christian Teachers". In his talk Rev Stegen emphasised the importance of God working through teachers to reach children with the Gospel. He said that the classroom should not just be a preparation for life but be "life itself."

Rev Peet Botha, the acting Rector, was the master of ceremonies.
