Mission School opens in
Paris - 9 September 2002
We are pleased to
inform you that an official private primary school has opened in Bobigny (suburb
of Paris) on September 09, 2002. This opening is the consequence of the hard and faithful
work of a group of parents who, after being touched by the gospel of the revival in South
Africa and the testimonies of these brethren, had decided
10 years ago to give to their children an education with a christian emphasis.
The opening was
granted by the authorities thanks also to the good testimony and impact that the
local church (Eglise Protestante de Bobigny) has had
throughout the years. On September 5, the final inspection with the academic
authorities granting the opening authorisation went well.
The school debut is small with only one
class covering two grades (grades 2 & 3).
The director will be Luc Fermaud and the
teacher Marie-Christine Moret.
