The theme - Experiencing God today

Rev Friedel Stegen took the last service of the two week European tour. The theme of the tour has been "Experiencing God Today". He read from various places in the books of Samuel, showing the lost glory through the capture of the Ark of the Covenant, and then the restoration and the ecstatic joy of David when he was able to return the Ark. His wife Michal despised David for this and mocked him, but this did not lessen the glory and it was Michal who lost out and remained barren.

In the service of 19 April 2008 Rev Friedel Stegen preached from 1Sam 2, 26 and Lk 2, 52. Eli had become complacent and was no longer enjoying a living experience with God. Only through repentance and a constant walk with God, can we remain on fire for Him.

Rev Friedel Stegen - Uncle Friedel, as he is affectionately known, is over 80 years old and preaches all over the world, probably more than any of the other co-workers at the mission. His wife, Aunty Rita, is a pillar of support and often accompanies him on his trips, which include, Australia, Rumania, Russia, France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and other lands. We thank God for his powerful ministry all these years. These photos were taken early April 2008 just before they left to Europe.
