Rev E. Stegen spoke about the preciousness of the Word of God. He used the story of Mary Jones as an example of a love for the Bible.

The help of the Gideons was sought for all the young people who wanted Bibles. Mr Walter Reddinger of the Greytown Camp of the Gideons handed out approximately 3000 Zulu New Testaments to the eager children
