Let Jesus be lifted up

LET JESUS BE LIFTED UP - planned action on Ascension Day, 18

Let's cover South Africa

Let's cover South Africa

At the recent Ministers' Conference plans were discussed for an action on Ascension Day, Thursday 18 May 2023, to lift up our Lord Jesus Christ. Although Ascension Day is no longer a public holiday in South Africa, to us Christians it will always be a special day where we remember our Lord’s ascension to be seated at the right hand of God – He to whom all authority in heaven and earth has been given.

We encourage everyone to let their voices be heard as we lift up the name of Jesus. South Africa will then know that Christians exist, exercise their freedom to practice their faith and work together, united in Christ. Away with division – unity in Christ is our strength.

This action is co-ordinated by Kwasizabantu Mission’s Ministers’ Conference. We plan to facilitate a march in Durban on 18 May, DV from 11:00 at King Dinuzulu Park, proceed down Dr Pixley Kaseme Str. (West Str) to the City Hall, closing at 13:00. All believers are welcome. Let your voice be heard; if not by attending the march, then by getting fellow believers together to pray on the day, by organising a similar march in your community or by gathering in a public park / roadside and passing on the message on a poster - Jesus is Lord, Jesus is our hope, Jesus cares, Jesus is the answer.

People in South Africa should not lose hope, because Jesus is alive, He is our hope.

Below find an advertorial/flyer which you could use for social media posting or for your local newspaper. You could also arrange with your local radio station for an opportunity to proclaim the message of hope, inviting fellow believers or pastors to join you.

Christians unite. Let Jesus be lifted up. There is no name like the name of Jesus Christ.

In His love
