I am Norah Mpanza from Stanger. I came to KwaSizabantu Mission in 1994 and I have been here ever since.
KwaSizabantu has really done a lot for me.
When I first came, I was not planning to stay here permanently. My goal was to learn how a young person should behave. I was invited by my brother to attend a conference at KwaSizabantu Mission. I liked the way the young ladies at the mission lived and behaved and I also wanted to live that life.
After the conference, I went back home and told my mother that I wanted to go to the mission to learn how to behave as a young person. I thought that I would just come to learn and then return home to be an example to those in my home area, Groutville, Stanger.
After some time, however, God called me to stay permanently at KwaSizabantu Mission. Until today, I enjoy staying at KwaSizabantu Mission and I have been satisfied and content all these years that I have been at the Mission.
I have never heard Rev. EH Stegen preach a strange message. He preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ that leads to life.
I work and I earn an income, and the salaries that we earn probably exceed those of many people who do not work at the mission.
We receive free meals and we are cared for in every way; we have accommodation – all free of charge.
I do not have to pay for transport to commute to work and I do not pay rent.
In addition to all of this, I receive a good salary at the end of the month without having these additional expenses deducted.
I have never experienced anything negative on the mission, instead, everyday the Mission helps me to learn more about serving God and how I should live as a young person.
I have no stress at all. Through all these years I have enjoyed my life at the mission. I enjoy waking up every day and just being myself.
It is wonderful to stay at the mission.
