Peace that Only He Can Give

I am so grateful to God that He brought me to his place in 2010. I was also at the end of my self. I was a 28-year-old, stubborn, rebellious girl when I came to Kwasizabantu for the first time. I was really seeking the Lord, but I also knew that I had done so much wrong that I was in the deepest, darkest pit.  And I had NO hope for myself and my life. It took me 2 and a half weeks to understand what this place really is and that it is not just a rehabilitation centre but a place where God is working in the lives of people. Where he changes people from the inside out.

He started to show me how lost I was but also how much he loves me that he brought me to this place where I can be safe from the outside world and where I can make my life right. I found peace, the peace that only He can give, in my heart. It is the best feeling and I can just rest in him. He has ever since provided all my needs. There isn’t one day where I go to bed hungry or where I have to worry about where I will get money for electricity or water. I haven’t pay rent in all these 10 years.

I love this place and I love my family in Christ. I was even saved from hating and opposing other races. We are working together to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is a harmony and oneness that only the Lord can work in a person’s heart. If it is the Lord’s will, I want to be here for the rest of my life on earth and keep on serving him here at Kwasizabantu.
