Prayer Walk

Prayer Walk

On Sunday, 24 October 2021, KwaSizabantu Mission joined together with a number of churches for a prayer walk in Pietermaritzburg. After assembling at the Plessislaer Police Station, we proceeded to walk through the city. Various church leaders prayed for the restoration of South Africa and the world, expressing concern for corruption, human trafficking, abortion, domestic violence, safety of the elderly and the upcoming elections in our country.

Some placards quoted the verse in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land."

This was a wonderful opportunity to be a light shining in this dark world.
