Luke 24
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
This became the life of Mr Sibisi, the father of the Sibisi family. The Lord had done the work. God opened their minds for the light of the Gospel to enter. Sbongile was very small when she started to make her life right with the Lord.
Has your mind been opened that you can understand the Gospel?
On the cross Jesus prayed for those whose minds were closed, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”. Jesus would rather that they were saved and His desire is the same for you.
Do you still love the world? Are the things of the world still found in your life? Come to the Lord and be washed in the Blood of Jesus. May it not be on the day of judgement that you say you didn’t know. God speaks to you today.
Words fail to describe the great love with which God loved us. He commanded us to go and preach the Gospel throughout the whole world. But you must love those you preach to with God’s love. Let all flippancy and light heartedness come to an end and focus on the Lord who is coming again.
God opens the mind to understand the things of the Kingdom. Pray that He will open yours too if it’s still closed.
