In mid-April, Durban and the surrounding areas experienced devastating floods. We were grateful to be able to help distressed families in affected communities. The areas were challenging to reach, with various areas having been completely destroyed and roads and houses washed away. Many settlements experienced a shortage of clean water as a result, since water from streams, rivers and local water systems became contaminated.
We distributed water and drinks to needy families, police, rescue teams and charities.
We pray for the many affected by this disaster.
