ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

DOMINO SERVITE SCHOOL | 100% PASS RATE FOR 33 YEARS

Matric 2020

Congratulations from the IEB CEO, Anne Oberholzer:
The IEB has observed that the Class of 2020 at your school achieved a 100% pass rate in the National Senior Certificate examination conducted by the IEB. This is an achievement of which your school community can be proud. This exceptionally good performance is indicative of motivated learners and a committed teaching cohort. I take this opportunity to congratulate you on an exceptional set of results in 2020 and wish you all the very best for a successful academic year in 2021.

Domino Servite School Matric Class of 2020 has achieved an outstanding set of results, despite the unprecedented challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The hard work, positive outlook and resilience of the learners is commendable and well rewarded with each of the 21 candidates achieving a Bachelor Degree pass. The results included 53 subject distinctions and 3 of the learners were in the top 1% for Geography and isiZulu Home Language in South Africa.

Domino Servite School was established in 1986 as a co-educational Christian school at KwaSizabantu Mission. The school is committed to creating a happy environment for all learners from Grade RRR through to Grade 12, and academic excellence, respect, responsible citizenship and Bible-based morals form the pillars of DSS. Since its registration as an examination centre in 1988, the school has achieved 100% matriculant pass rate.

DSS follows the IEB curriculum, is a member of the Independent Schools Association of South Africa (ISASA) and achieved Umalusi accreditation in 2013.

“We give God the glory for the remarkable academic results the school has achieved throughout the years and across all the grades. We thank Him for His love and blessings,” says Miss D Newlands, Principal of Domino Servite School. “Credit also goes to an outstanding and dedicated staff team and to each of our learners for adapting so wonderfully and positively to all the changes 2020 brought with it.”
