Theme: Let’s lift Jesus higher / Masimphakamise uJesu
About 5000 young people from all corners of KZN and further afield – the Free State, Eastern Cape, Gauteng and other provinces – attended the Youth Conference at KwaSizabantu Mission that was held from 28 June to 5 July.
What a joy to experience the Lord’s working. He provided ample food in a miraculous way – imagine the quantities needed to fill growing youngsters with nutritious food! All the young people were transported to and from the mission, accommodated and experienced the life-changing gospel during each service where God’s truths were held before them. There is no greater miracle than to see how God, through His power and great love, is able to set young people free from the guilt and burden of sin.
These children were able to leave for home with shining faces and the assurance that no matter how dark and dismal our future may appear, there is always great hope for a person who belongs to Christ. We continue to pray for each child and echo the words of the chorus with which the auditorium resounded these days: Akekho ofana no Jesu / There is no one like Jesus.
