Last minute arrangements are being made to bring in extra beds for the crowds expected to start arriving in a few days. Classrooms are being converted into dormitories. Newspaper is being stuck to windows for girls’ classroom dormitories. But the main expansion is the building for 800 men – a 2 level building which is for young men of the “Concerned Community” who are increasing in numbers by the day. Only a small part of the building is being prepared for the Youth Conference (see photos below). Walls are being erected and a temporary roof (within the much higher roof) will at least keep the boys protected from the winter cold.
