Hier kurz meine Geschichte.

Jesus Christ has become more important than anything else in my life

I want to testify that I met Jesus Christ in reality through the message of Reverend Erlo Stegen and his co-workers. With this letter I want to express my gratitude for what the Lord has done for me through the KwaSizabantu Mission. I don't know where I would be if I hadn't met up with KwaSizabantu.

Here, in short, is my story. In my early childhood I asked my mother to read the Children's Bible to me, three times. Later however I wandered very far from God as a result of my stubbornness and because of bad influences. Because of the Children's Bible and from what I heard about God, I realised that I was missing something. I started to seek God. As time passed I gave up because I found that I could not lead a life pleasing to God. I even lost faith in His existence.

On a very exhausting bike ride, it was windy and raining that day, the Lord revealed Himself to me and I realised once again that He exists. A short time later I heard a cassette of Reverend Erlo Stegen for the first time; it spoke to me very much. In the following years I tried to implement what I had heard, but I didn't succeed. I read right through the Bible. But through various wrong turns and worldly influences, and because I did not consult the Lord in my decisions, I failed again. However, I could not forget the message nor what I had learnt through studying the Bible. And again I realized that my life was not right. Only when I had the opportunity to speak to Rev Erlo Stegen after a sermon in Germany in 1986 and confess my sins, did my life change. It was still a long and hard battle against the sin that had accumulated in my life, but through God's grace and patience I was gradually able to experience deliverance. "For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live."(Romans 8:13)

Since then I have always been blessed by the message of God preached by the brothers and sisters of KwaSizabantu. God has also intervened in my family. Two of my children have given their lives to the Lord and are currently also at the mission station. I thank God that I came into contact with KwaSizabantu and that I have been able to experience how people interact and live with one another there. That is a testimony in itself. My family and I have received nothing but good from KwaSizabantu Mission.
