The first sweet-pepper plants were officially planted by Rev Erlo Stegen on Monday 11th of February 2013. This giant hothouse (4 hectares in size) is fully operational in the first quarter (containing nearly 40,000 plants) and the next quarter is now ready for planting. All in all, the hothouse has the potential to produce many tons per week and will add to the existing production of the other 6 hothouses which have been in full production for a while.
