Orphans Receive Quilts from the Netherlands

On 1 June a team from Kwasizabantu visited one of the areas where orphans received quilts from the Netherlands and groceries from the mission. A group of ladies from Gouda in Holland had donated 62 hand-made quilts for the orphans. We used this as an opportunity to distribute much need groceries which included: flour, maize-meal, sugar, aQuelle water, potatoes and cooking oil. We keep an updated list of orphans to make sure that they are authentic. Children have to arrive with their carers (someone in the clan who takes some responsibility for them).
