A weekend of special services was held, 14 to 16 February 2014, at the Kwasizabantu branch in the Gordon area in KwaZulu-Natal. The mission is situated near the Gordon Memorial Mission. Kwasizabantu Bakery: These photographs are of the new bakery which was opened at the end of last year and is at the back of the new shop at the entrance to the mission. There are full-time volunteers from Germany, Australia and Switzerland as well as some hired workers.
This pasta project is small but lovely to have for supplying the mission with pasta (noodles) and for selling. The ladies handle the whole project, from the recepe to the cutting, drying (in a dehumidifier room) through to packaging.
This project produces between 7 and 10 tons a week to be sold or used at the mission. Sweet Peppers are also referred to as Capsicum, Bell Peppers and Paprica. There is so much demand for these vegetables that a new section is being completed for 4 hectares of tunnels. The system to grow peppers…
A 1000 hectare piece of land has been given to Kwasizabantu mission in the south of Angola. Rev Stegen flew on 29 May 2013 to Rundu. From there they were driven across the Kavango river to Mucusso. A pont or “dug outs” will transport them across the river.
Thanks to kind brethren in Europe a full container finally arrived at the Kwasizabantu Mission in Paraguay. It was with great excitement that the container was on the thumbnail photos or hold your cursor over them to see the explanation captions.
