St Florian Boys’ Choir visits KwaSizabantu Mission

On Friday, 24 October, KwaSizabantu Mission was honoured to welcome the St. Florian Boys' Choir of Austria.

Established in 1071, the internationally active choir has a near 1000-year history of music making.

Together with their choir master, artistic director and assisting staff, the choir boys toured the Mission before appearing in the auditorium for the evening performance.

Distinguished guests, traditional leaders, members from surrounding communities and visiting schools were treated to a masterly performance.

The repertoire was varied and included classical compositions, sacred music, traditional folk songs and even some African renditions, which were received with great appreciation by the audience.
